Refund Policy – The Game

  • The game has not been played for more than 2 hours across all associated accounts.
  • The product is not part of a non-refundable bundle or promotion (see Section 4).
  • The request includes valid proof of purchase and account information.
  • The product was purchased directly through The Game or its official distribution channels.

Refund eligibility is determined based on our internal systems and verification processes. We reserve the right to accept or deny requests at our discretion, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.

3. Non-Refundable Products and Services

  • Games that have been played beyond the 2-hour limit.
  • In-game purchases, such as skins, boosters, or in-game currency.
  • Downloadable content (DLC) that has been downloaded or installed.
  • Subscription services once the access period has started.
  • Gifted titles that have already been redeemed.
  • Products purchased as part of a discounted bundle or flash sale.
  • Games affected by account misuse, violations of terms, or user bans.

Exceptions may be made if a product is proven to be defective or if an advertised feature is not functioning as intended.

4. Technical Issues and Performance Problems

We recognize that technical problems can sometimes interfere with your ability to enjoy a game. If you experience consistent crashes, performance issues, or incompatibility that prevents gameplay—even after attempting to resolve the issue through customer support—you may request a refund.

Please note:

  • Refunds for technical reasons require evidence of attempts to fix the issue, such as communication with support or documentation of errors.
  • Hardware incompatibility, especially when minimum system requirements were not met, may not qualify for refunds unless the requirements were misrepresented.
  • Problems caused by third-party software, outdated drivers, or unsupported hardware are not covered unless explicitly stated.

5. Pre-Orders and Early Access Games

If you pre-order a video game, you are eligible to cancel the order and receive a full refund at any time before the official release date. After the release date, the standard 14-day refund policy applies, provided the game has not been played for more than 2 hours.

Early Access games are also refundable under the same time and usage limits. However, due to their in-development nature, players should understand that Early Access titles may contain bugs or incomplete features, which do not automatically qualify them for refunds.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must contact our customer service team through the official support channel and provide:

  • Your full name and email associated with the purchase.
  • A copy of the transaction confirmation or order number.
  • The name of the game or product for which the refund is requested.

Refund requests are typically reviewed within 5–7 business days. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Depending on the financial institution, refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.

Refunds will not be issued to alternate accounts or payment methods.

7. Refunds for Accidental Purchases

  • You have not launched or downloaded the game.
  • The request is made within 14 days of the purchase.
  • The product was not part of a final sale, bundle, or irreversible promotional offer.

Please note that repeated refund requests for accidental purchases may result in the suspension of refund privileges.

8. Misuse of the Refund System
